The tree is up, y’all!!

… and the dogs are stunned…

It’s huge, by far the biggest tree I think I have ever had (including trees from my childhood) and it’s REAL!  Our whole house smells like Christmas and it has nothing to do with the fabulous Evergreen candle I just got from Bath & Body Works.  Husband says as a child his family would go to the tree lot and pick out the biggest tree they could find.  Since my in laws have vaulted ceilings, I’m sure those trees were incredible & if they were decorated anything like the beautiful trees my mother in law has had the past three years, I’m sure it was a winter wonderland every Christmas morning for the Dietrich boys.

    Christmas lights on the exterior of the house go up next week, I’m so excited!!  And I can’t wait for my family to get here!!  Less than a month til Jesus’ birthday… whoa…
