Easter, 2020

Good morning and Happy Easter to all of you!

Yesterday, I felt the urge to get dressed, put on makeup, fix my hair, clean the boys up, and go ahead and take our family Easter photo.  Normally, right now we would be dressed like the photo above and heading out the door (probably late as usual) to church.  Today we are watching our church live stream on the internet :(… in our jammies… Such a weird time in the world.

We feel blessed though!  Woke up in a safe home, with clothes on our backs, the Easter Bunny made a visit last night, my kids are happy and healthy… life is precious and so, so good!  And thank you Jesus for giving your life for us!  That’s the biggest blessing of all!

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live.  And whoever lives, and believes in me, shall never die.”

John 11:25-26

Wishing you all a wonderful Easter full of love and health!  Here are some fun pictures from the magic in our house this morning :)

Easter Sunday 2013

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal
life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the
world, but that the world should be saved through Him."
John 3:16-17

Brunch with the Easter Bunny

^^Momma Olson, Aunt Robbin, & Grandma with the Easter Bunny^^

And this little princess ^^ I hadn’t seen her since my wedding day almost 2 years ago!  She was just a baby… and now look how big she is?!?  This is my cousin’s daughter, Allie.  Isn’t she precious?  She just got a little brother, (pictured in the black and white photo above) Ben, a few months ago, and I’m soooooo glad I got to spend some time with them!

Hope everyone had a Hoppy Easter!

It’s beginning to look a lot like…

The tree is up, y’all!!

… and the dogs are stunned…

It’s huge, by far the biggest tree I think I have ever had (including trees from my childhood) and it’s REAL!  Our whole house smells like Christmas and it has nothing to do with the fabulous Evergreen candle I just got from Bath & Body Works.  Husband says as a child his family would go to the tree lot and pick out the biggest tree they could find.  Since my in laws have vaulted ceilings, I’m sure those trees were incredible & if they were decorated anything like the beautiful trees my mother in law has had the past three years, I’m sure it was a winter wonderland every Christmas morning for the Dietrich boys.

Christmas lights on the exterior of the house go up next week, I’m so excited!!  And I can’t wait for my family to get here!!  Less than a month til Jesus’ birthday… whoa…
