My pride and joy!!! This sweet baby melts my heart with that smile!  And those teeth… oh my word!!  #HolyCuteness!!

Well, today my boy is 7 months old.  We just got back from celebrating his first Thanksgiving in Houston with my side of the family.  It was a really nice trip.  Bennett went to his first parade, met some of his new cousins, saw his great grandma, and tried refried beans {I hope he liked them because Mama eats Mexican food at least once a week}.

This boy is getting so long and lean!  He loves to eat… all day long… He has mastered the spoon {well, taking food with a spoon, not using it by himself} and sippy cup.  Yep… skipped bottles and went straight for sippy cups.  We are still breastfeeding.  It’s still his favorite.  He is wearing 12 month clothes for the length.  Size 3 diapers. Hates wearing shoes.  Crawls all over, and is starting to pull himself up on things.

One thing that surprises me is how much he is starting to enjoy our story time.  This boy really likes books right now.  He gets this look on his face like he is reading along right with me and is completely entranced with the story.  His favorite book at the moment is “Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See” but today I read him “The Night Before Christmas” and he adored it!  What’s funny is, with Brown Bear, Husband & I will read the entire book and as soon as we say “the end” he starts crying hysterically until we start reading it again.  So we will {literally} read it 100+ times!  Ha ha ha!  I have a cute video of him doing this, might have to upload it to our youtube page…

Anyway, we are super pumped for Christmas later this month.  The tree is already up and the decor is in the works.  It’s going to be so special having this little guy around.  He completes my world.
