What’s a trip to New Orleans without hitting up Bourbon St.?!?  The street performers, the people watching, it’s just the BEST!  We had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Amelie where we had fig preserves, goat cheese, fruit and nut bread to start (YUM!), I had the pan seared salmon with horseradish sauce and Husband had the Louisiana crawfish pasta.  Both entrees were delicious!

And on our final day, we got tickets to Jazz Fest!!  We had such a great time!  I got to see one of my favorite bands, Vampire Weekend, which is an indie rock band and to be honest… most of their songs kinda sound the same (especially to Husband) ha ha ha, but I love them!  Go look them up on YouTube… let me know what you think… ;)

Oh, New Orleans, I hope we can visit you again real soon!
