Dear Husband,
Today is Friday, February 14th, 2014 and I love you more today than I did yesterday.  Yesterday, I loved you more than I did the day before, and I’m pretty sure tomorrow I will love you more than I do today.  I know that is not an original saying, but it’s the perfect thing to write to you because it’s true.  Since we’ve met, I don’t think there has been a day that has passed where I didn’t find a new reason to love you more.  You have so many wonderful qualities about you, I really don’t even know where to start, but if I had to describe your character in three words they would be thoughtful, dedicated, and genuine.
Let’s start with thoughtful… Your consideration for the needs of others is commendable. Â I love that you are generous when it’s important yet practical in purchases for yourself. Â I love that you always make me walk on the inside of you when we are on a busy street because you think drivers are crazy and you don’t want me to be hit. Â That’s so thoughtful! Â The way you take care of me… there are some things that you do that go unnoticed, and you never bring them up, but then I find out that you did them… for me… for my happiness… that is just the most wonderful feeling for a woman. Â I don’t give you enough credit for all the amazingly thoughtful things you do for me on a daily basis. Â You are truly a dream, Husband. Â I love that about you.
Moving on to dedicated… You are by far the hardest worker I know. Â Not in the sense that you can’t ever unplug, but in the sense of always striving to be the best you can be at anything & everything you put your mind to. Â Whether it’s to be a better boss, a better husband, a better friend, a better son… a better anything! You are dedicated to putting your all into it. Â You are really figuring out the work/life balance so beautifully and I admire you for your commitment to my happiness. Â I love that about you.
And finally, genuine…Â Â When I say that you are genuine, I mean that you are humble when most would be arrogant; you put anyone and everyone at ease with your modesty. Â There are times when you get bashful when people talk about your accomplishments (there are so many to be proud of!!) and I absolutely adore that about you. You are authentic, sincere, and most of all honest. Â You never make people feel inferior to you, even though we all know you are the smartest guy in the room, and I love that you always, always, always consider me your equal. Â You make me feel like what I’m doing in our lives is just as important as what you are doing (even though it’s clearly not). Â I love that about you.
I have said it before, but I will say it again… you are one of a kind, Husband. Â Truly, a rare breed of man. Â And I thank God every day for you.
I love you,
Wifey
