I don’t know how many times I have written The Proposal out , but I REALLY wish I would have saved a copy for this moment right now… here it is…

It was a normal Sunday when TBS was doing their usual Julia Roberts marathon.  Side note: just so everyone is very clear- if Pretty Woman is EVER on television I will stop everything I’m doing and watch. Not a joke…  Ok, back to the story…

Andy decides he is going to suffer through another rerun of the movie, which I’m sure is complete torture for him since he hates watching a movie after he has already seen it.  It comes to the part when Edward (Richard Gere) is surprising Vivienne (Julia Roberts) with a fabulous necklace and then he takes her on the private jet to the opera- ladies, I’m sure you know which part I’m talking about…

So I turn to Andy and ask what any normal girl would ask, “Why don’t you do anything like that for me?”

He laughed it off and changed the subject, which at the time kinda hurt my feelings but not really.  So the following weekend I had to work, but before I went to work on Saturday, Andy told me to pack a bag because he is taking me away for the night.  So immediately I’m thinking, “Omg! He got the hint! We are going on a private jet & going to see the opera!” Just kidding, I didn’t really think that… but I was excited he had planned something fun for a weekend getaway!

He didn’t tell me where we were going so I’m sure I was pretty annoying the whole hour long drive, but then we pulled up to this…

The Don Cesar- St. Petersburg, FL

Once we had settled into our ocean view suite, we went down to the pool and had some drinks, went to the beach and watched the sunset, then had an amazing dinner at the hotel restaurant.  It was really stunning how beautiful everything was. So well thought out and so me!  After dinner, Andy & I went out to the beach again and that’s where he got down on his knee and popped the question.  It was so sweet.  He did an amazing job! Oh, and he presented me with this bad boy…
