The Current Children

Some people get annoyed with the fact that I consider my dogs my kids.  You know what I have to say about that?  Nothing. I don’t care.

At the moment we have 3 very rambunctious, i mean, loving monsters, er, mutts. I say ‘at the moment’ because you never know when Husband & I will get puppy fever.  It’s a sickness.

Anyway, our first born, Dolce’, is a 6 lb 3 oz yorkie.  He is by far the most high maintenance dog of all time… very needy and constantly whining about something. He is not very friendly with the other dogs and I’m pretty sure he wishes he was an only child.  I think Andy felt a lot of pressure to adopt Dolce’ when we first met because I owned Dolce’ before… I told him that Dolce’ & I were a package deal- take it or leave it. He caved.

Our middle child, Sasha, is a boxer mix.  She is a very sweet and gentle soul, but she has some serious anxiety issues.  Calm moments are very rare for her as any slight sound or movement can make her very nervous and start barking like mad.  She hates the camera with a passion so there will not be too many pictures of her (unfortunately), but I will try to get fresh shots whenever I can! Other than those few points, she is so precious and loving and I couldn’t imagine my life without her!

And last but certainly not least, our youngest, Layla.  Where do I even start?!? Layla is our 2 year old pitt/ argentine dogo mutt who has never met a stranger.  She has a personality that people either fall in love with instantaneously or get extremely annoyed with within seconds. She just wants everyone to love her. Unlike her sister, Layla LOVES the camera.  I can take a picture of her whenever I want!  She has been a wonderful addition to our ever growing family and I’m looking forward to what the future holds for Miss Layla!
