My little baby is getting so big!!  This guy loves being outdoors, darts for the dog water bowl as soon as I put it down, enjoys feeling the sand roll through his fingers at the sand table, studies my face as I sing any nursery rhyme, seems to be a little more rough than big brother Bennett, seems to be a little louder than big brother Bennett, wants so badly to be included in all activities, still takes two decent naps during the day, pulls himself up with anything he can, will move from one piece of furniture to another, and will probably soon be walking… eeeeek!

I find it funny when people tell me that Remy is looking more and more like Bennett.  To me they are still so different.  Everything about their personalities is totally different, it just overlaps to their looks to me.  Every now and then, they will have similar facial expressions that make me say, “Oh, that is a Bennett face!” or vice versa… but I just don’t really think they look that much alike right now.

I’m pretty sure Remy has inherited my teeth, unfortunately.  For those who may not know, I had braces three times.  Yes, you read that right. Three… separate… times.  It was not fun.  I had spacers, expanders, permanent retainers, the WORKS!  And I’m still not 100% happy with my results.  Good thing Remy has Husband to work on his grill, hopefully he will get it right the first time around!  But right now it is super cute!  His little gap on top!  Love it!

This year is flying by.  I cannot believe in three months he will be one year old.  I’m starting to think about his first birthday.  Since we made such a production over Bennett’s first birthday, I feel slightly obligated to give Remy an awesome first birthday as well.  Would hate for him to look back and be like,”what the heck, mom!”  Which I know will come for other things in life, but I will not let it be about the first birthday! ;)

The holiday’s are approaching fast.  I can’t wait for all the fun in store for both of my boys!  Remington will be experiencing everything for the first time and it’s such a joy to watch a baby’s face while they are witnessing all the magic!  On that note, I got the boys costumes on Amazon, and I cannot wait for y’all to see them!  It’s nothing too original, but it sure will be cute!

Remy, I’m really loving this stage we are in right now.  Stay small a little longer my sweet baby.  I will miss you crawling toward me fast to pull up on my legs to hold you (just like brother did), I will miss the excitement in your eyes when someone turns talking Elmo on for you, I will miss the pounding of your hand on the tray in the highchair when you are no longer food aggressive (ha ha ha!), I will miss how obsessed you are with your brother and how you look at him with such awe because he is the coolest kid ever, but most of all I will someday miss the neck nuzzles you provide me every single night before you go to bed.  I don’t think I realized when Bennett stopped doing these types of things, so I want to document them here…  love you sweet, sweet boy.  You bring so much sunshine to our lives daily!
