Today, my baby, Bennett, is officially two months old! Unreal! I wish I could finish up his two month post today, but we have his check-up with the pediatrician tomorrow, and I want to make sure I have all of his current stats (weight, height, etc…).
So in place of his “two month old” post, I’m going to let you guys know what things Bennett is really liking these days and things that have kept Husband & I sane over the last few weeks! As most of you know, every now and then I like to update my blog with a few items I’m currently diggin’. I think that most of you that read along tend to like my suggestions… or you just like seeing what I’m wasting my money on every couple of months ;)
A friend of mine was generous enough to allow us to borrow her manual version of this before her baby arrives this fall and boy has it been a sanity saver! Bennett absolutely loves this thing! We have the Momaroo which worked when he was brand new to this world, but he quickly moved on from that and now wants to be aggressively rocked in this Rock ‘N Play. That’s the good thing about the manual version. You can make it go as fast as the baby likes, where as with the new automatic one that doesn’t require any hands on work. I blame my mom for his addiction to being rocked to the point of almost causing whiplash… she claims I loved it as a kid, so she decided to try that with Bennett. Now the kid doesn’t like anything gently rocking him… Anyway, if your baby enjoys being rocked, I highly recommend this product! Manual or automatic.
So, these are the best thing ever.
These onesies are awesome! So much easier than dealing with a bunch of snaps! Bennett wore the one pictured above on Father’s Day and I’m officially a strong supporter of this company!
I recently purchased this stroller for all the upcoming trips we will be making and believe it or not, it really makes Bennett happy! When he is crying heavily during that infamous “Witching Hour” I just pop him in there, and it soothes him within minutes, if not seconds. I’m really impressed with how lightweight it is, the ease of folding it up, it’s large sun visor, and it even has some storage underneath! I’m excited to use it this weekend for it’s real purpose… travel!
This is a MUST HAVE on any new mom’s registry. This has literally saved my sanity on many occasions. You know, I always say this, but taking care of a baby is truly a full time job. It is! In addition to taking care of a baby, breast-feeding is another full time job! It’s a lot of work! Not to mention, you are tethered to your baby for however long you choose to do it! (Especially if your baby is like mine and refuses to take a bottle- this is a more recent thing, he was doing ok with a bottle for a hot minute but now he is refusing) Anyway, I don’t think I would have made it a week if I didn’t have the My Brest Friend.
I hope these posts will be somewhat helpful for all the mommy’s out there! I love when products are well worth the investment!
