Y’all hangin in there? This year has been a doozy, hasn’t it? You know, I’ve been having a hard time keeping up with the blog lately and today, I jump on here to do a quick little weekend update, and the whole editing process that I use for the site is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! It took me SO LONG to write this post, insert the photos, and organize it to look normal… oh my goodness. That is why it’s going to be short and sweet and to the point.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Labor Day weekend! We had a four day holiday, so we decided to grab some of our closest friends and head out of town to St. Augustine! We rented a beach house on Vilano Beach which is just north of St. Augustine and it was so nice! It was not crowded at all, lots of beach space, and the water was perfection! The kids played in the sand and jumped waves every day, as us parents got to enjoy some much needed down time and relaxation :)
On Sunday, we decided to explore a bit so we went to the Alligator Farm. We saw ALL the things including a two toed sloth and albino alligators. The kids had so much fun, Remy even asked to go back the next day!
Monday before heading back home, we decided to hit up the historic district, St. George St., and the Castillo De San Marcos where the kids ran after birds and got to see lots of cool boats in the bay. St. Augustine is such a fun quirky town, and we really didn’t get to see very much of it, but a weekend away is perfect and leaves us wanting to visit again soon! Enjoy the pics!
