We just love Sweetfields Farm! This was our third year to go (previous trips are here and here), and each year, as the boys get a little bit older, they love it more and more! I mean… what’s not to love about getting lost in corn mazes, feeding goats, rubber ducky races, and big bales of hay??? Enjoy the pictures, y’all!
Sweetfields Farm 2017
Remember when we went to Sweetfields Farm last year?

I absolutely LOVE this place. The jury is still out as to whether Bennett likes it or not, but I know Remy had a great time! Bennett is definitely testing us with his two-year-old tantrums and frustrations lately. He is still learning to communicate what he wants and needs, and sometimes when he <<finally>> decides he is ready to enjoy a moment, everyone else is ready to move on to the next fun thing. Being a new mom to a toddler is a tough thing. I haven’t learned the best way to discipline my child yet, he pretty much dictates how things are going to roll… and sometimes this can be pretty embarrassing. BUT we will get past this, and hopefully I can look back some day and say to myself, “you did a good job, mama!” HA! Hopefully…
Back to the subject at hand, Sweetfields! This year the treehouse playgrounds were a BIG hit for Bennett. He must have went up the steps and down the slides a hundred times! He wanted nothing to do with the horseback riding, nor the tricycles, but the antique tractor was definitely a favorite again, as you can see from the pictures. Remy enjoyed looking at all the animals & standing in the pumpkins. Every day he becomes more animated and fun loving!
The weather was much nicer this year, we had a little breeze and it was slightly overcast. I remember last year being pretty brutal with the heat. We all enjoyed the fresh popped kettle corn again- so good! And had some pretty awesome photo ops of course! This farm is so much fun, and I’m hoping it becomes our little tradition every year!
Pumpkin Patch Fun at Sweetfield Farm
Y’all… Sweetfields Farm was awesome!
There have been a lot of threads on Facebook lately with all of the fun things to do around town in Tampa for Fall. Sweetfields was highly recommended, so we got the troops (aka awesome grandparents!!) together and drove almost an hour to get there- totally worth it! Bennett had the best time! He spent some quality time looking at the large variety of pumpkins, he watched 3 little piggies race, fed goats, ate fresh popped kettle corn, and had a photo op with an antique tractor.
Lucky for us, mother nature had dropped the humidity for the day so it was actually an enjoyable day for these outdoor activities. The pictures above tell the story of the day pretty well, lots fun and adventure for our little man! I can’t wait to Baby D No.2 to be with us next year for this!
