::The California Melt::
Step one:: Toast a couple slices of whole wheat bread. I like the Arnold Select Sandwich Thins because they only have about 100 calories per serving.
Step two:: Slice an avocado & tomato and place the fruit on the toasted bread.
Step 3:: Sprinkle some sliced almonds on top; this brings a little crunch to the mix :)
Step 4:: Top with one slice of Swiss cheese, pop these babies in the broiler for 2 minutes & they are ready to enjoy! You can even add a pinch of salt & balsamic vinegar to give it a little more flavor ;)
Try it… you won’t be disappointed. Promise!
