It’s a New Year!

I know, I know… it’s already the middle of January and New Years has come and gone… but for some reason, I feel like I need to reflect back on 2013 and give some major props to some pretty awesome moments!  First, our trip to Costa Rica- you can check it out herehere, and here. Then, our two year wedding anniversary where Husband surprised me with a weekend getaway to Naples.  During the summer, we had both bathrooms renovated- see them here and here. Can’t forget our trip to Nor Cal, which you can check out hereherehere, and here.  My best friend got married!!  (Still waiting on wedding pictures, Victoria!!)  And of course I recently turned the big 3-0  which we spent in Turks & Caicos!!  What a fantastic year!

2013, you were real good to us!  It’s hard to say farewell, but I’m excited for what 2014 has in store for us!

Happy New Year, Y’all!

a whole year?!?

So, last week I got a notification that it was my one year anniversary with WordPress (the blog site).  Really?  I have been writing non-sense for a whole year?!? And people are actually following and enjoying it?!? Crazy!  Not only does this month mark the end of my first year of blogging, this morning I received my first offer to be paid to write about a product!  I’m thinking about responding with, “are you for real?”.  I never started the blog to make money, I just wanted an easy way for me to keep our life experiences organized since I’m horrible at scrapbooking… but that’s beside the point. Seeing the possibilities of what could be, writing blurbs about cool products and stuff could be fun!  I just want to make sure I don’t change the subject matter of my blog and turn it into what I feel like every blog is: advertisement.

This little thing (website) holds so many personal tidbits about our life, and I feel like I’m only scratching the surface.  I’m excited for what the future holds for Husband & I, and I just want to say… I’m glad you guys are along for the ride.

Thanks, followers!
