Y’all, the master bath is FINALLY done!!

Oh.Em.Gee!!  Ladies & gentlemen,  the construction that has been going on for months has officially come to an end!

And I couldn’t be happier!

Well, obviously, I still need some window treatments and a few more accessories, BUT all the major things are complete!  Yeeeee!!!

I have already taken six baths in my claw foot tub from Waterworks.  I’m obsessed with my sink which is custom.  Marble top is the Renaissance Console from Stone Forest with Palmer sink legs.  I used Carrara marble tiles (12×12 cut down to 12×3) on the floor in a herringbone pattern.  The tile company I used was Akdo Carrara Bella (honed).  And basic 3×6 white subway tiles on all walls.  All water fixtures are Rohl Perrin & Rowe. I really like the exposed piping & valves.  The custom shelving was done by a local carpenter.  I think that’s about it!  If you are curious about anything else just leave me a comment. :)

And just for giggles, here are the before pics:

Master Bath Demolition

While we were in California, we had our contractor go ahead and start demo on the master bath… and this is what we came home to:

Isn’t that a pretty sight?  Oh the joys of construction…

It’s been about 2 weeks since these pictures were taken and since then we are making steady progress.  The frame of the shower is in, tile has been ordered and should arrive next week, all fixtures have been delivered, floors are in, plumber has re-piped everything, electrician will be installing recessed lighting tomorrow followed up with inspection on Friday, inspection on plumbing takes place on Monday, etc… exciting stuff! Not.

Pray for me y’all!  I would say we are barely half way done…
