So Long, 2014

I love New Years Eve.  It gives me the opportunity to look back at the current year and reflect on all the memorable moments that I want to hold on to.  Like all the years in the past, 2014 did not disappoint.  Earlier this year we went to Palm Springs, CA for a meeting where we visited Mount San Jacinto and had a tennis star sighting of Novak Djokovic.  In April we celebrated our three year wedding anniversary :) and visited New Orleans where we toured the WWII Museum and ate our weight in beignets {mmmmm….}.  Of course, this summer was our big trip to Thailand, which you can read about herehereherehere, and finally here.  More recently, we of course found out that we were expecting!!  Made a trip to Chicago for Thanksgiving where were got to see The Bean, and our final trip of the year was to NYC.  It’s been a great year, but I know that next year is going to be even better! I have never looked more forward to a new year {like this one} in all my life!  The Dietrichs welcome you, 2015!

Hope you all have a very fun, safe, and Happy New Year!

It’s a New Year!

I know, I know… it’s already the middle of January and New Years has come and gone… but for some reason, I feel like I need to reflect back on 2013 and give some major props to some pretty awesome moments!  First, our trip to Costa Rica- you can check it out herehere, and here. Then, our two year wedding anniversary where Husband surprised me with a weekend getaway to Naples.  During the summer, we had both bathrooms renovated- see them here and here. Can’t forget our trip to Nor Cal, which you can check out hereherehere, and here.  My best friend got married!!  (Still waiting on wedding pictures, Victoria!!)  And of course I recently turned the big 3-0  which we spent in Turks & Caicos!!  What a fantastic year!

2013, you were real good to us!  It’s hard to say farewell, but I’m excited for what 2014 has in store for us!

Happy New Year, Y’all!
