This little man turned 8 months old on Saturday!  We were in Charleston, South Carolina for the Labor Day weekend, so this post is a few days late, but I would never forget to update on my sweet Remington!

Last time we were at the doctor’s office, he was 30.87 inches long (hundredth percentile) and 20.22 lbs.  BIG GUY!  Remember Bennett at 8 months? Gosh, look how much more hair Remy has than Bennett did at this age… crazy!  Like his big bro, Remy sure does love to eat.  He will try anything and everything.  He loves snacking on the puffs & yogurt bites, anything bread, and has taken a liking to chicken tenders and fries.  He is still eating pureed veggies/ fruit packs.  He especially like anything with sweet potato in it.  He has graduated to a medium flow nipple on the bottle, and soon I plan to let him start trying a sippy cup.  Bennett was drinking from a sippy cup at this age.

Remington is on the move with his crawling, he’s getting so fast!  He has been crawling slowly for a couple of weeks now, but recently he is getting faster and faster.  I gotta start picking up the dog bowls and vacuuming more!  He still loves a lot of interaction and still smiles all the time.  He is so happy!  He follows his brother around in his walker, which I think annoys Bennett a little bit.  He is just so curious as to what Bennett is playing with or doing, he wants so bad to play and have fun.

I’m not sure if you guys noticed, but Remy officially has 4 teeth!  The two middle lowers and the two middle tops!  He has been suffering with the teething so much lately, it seemed like every night for a month he has been needing tylenol to help with the pain.  Poor guy.

He is still sleeping really well at night, loves bath time and long walks in the stroller, still not a big fan of the car seat, loves watching and being around other kids, has been on something like 14 flights, and thoroughly enjoys floating in the pool.  He is just such a joy to have around, and I don’t even remember my world without his precious face!

Remington James, you are such a light in our lives!  I can’t wait to see what the rest of your first year of life holds!  You have been the sweetest addition to our little family, and I couldn’t be more proud to be your mommy!  Love you, my baby!
