So much history, so little time.  Even though this (technically speaking) was not my first time in St. Augustine, it was definitely my first time experiencing this super cute & charming town.  When we got in on Friday night we checked in at Casa Monica and immediately wanted to do some exploring.  We headed down to the pier, checked out some art galleries on the way, and later had dinner at Collage.

According to Wiki ;) :: St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied European- established settlement & port in the continental United States.  The picture above is of Castillo de San Marcos which is the oldest fort in the country, built in 1672!  Pretty cool.

Of course Husband & I had to check out the pirate museum.  It was a little cheesy, but we got the tickets with our hotel room, so whatev’s.

The picture of the ceramic vases & planters above is from this AWESOME shop in downtown St. Augustine and unfortunately I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me.  I think my mom would have died and gone to heaven in this place… everything was hand painted from Spain, I wanted one of each!

And the final indulgence from our 24 hours in this sweet little town… Taro FroYo!!!  I’m not a big fan of FroYo, or ice cream for that matter, but oh my goodness… this was the best thing since cookies and milk (for me).  Loved it!
